Mr. Rajeev Chaudhary is an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), 1981-83 batch.
 
He holds LLB and LLM degrees from Delhi University and Kurukshetra University respectively.
 
Mr. Chaudhary started his career as Manager (Direct recruit Grade B Officer) at National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), an apex development financial institution in India in 1983.
 
In NABARD he worked on large number of Rural Development Projects. He specialised in Microfinance sector and has made noteworthy contributions in state of Rajasthan by promoting more than one lakh women Self Help Groups.
 
He was deputed as Managing Director of Delhi State Cooperative Bank from 1994 to 1999.
 
From 1996 to 1998 he was given additional responsibility of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister, Government of Delhi,
 
His foray into crop insurance began in 2006 at AIC. During his tenure at AIC he has led several departments like Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Human Resources, Marketing, Publicity and Legal.
 
He has played a key role in the formulation and development of various Crop Insurance schemes including the design and implementation of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), one of Government of India’s flagship schemes.
 
Hailing from farming community himself, Mr. Chaudhary strongly believes in social service and is passionate about serving the farming community.
